Tadaza

Tadaza is an oral formulation that is used for the treatment of Erectile dysfunction. It contains Dapoxetine (30 mg) and Tadalafil (10 mg) where Dapoxetine works by increasing the levels of serotonin, which improves control over ejaculation and increases the time taken for ejaculation. Tadalafil on the other hand works by dilating the blood vessels which increases the blood flow to the penile tissues. 

How does Tadaza work?

Dapoxetine is a Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) that works by inhibiting the serotonin transporter which increases the levels of serotonin in the body thereby playing an important role in ejaculatory delay.

Dosage

Only one tablet is usually prescribed in 24 hours.

• Aprepitant
• Clarithromycin
• Diltiazem
• Doxazosin
• Erythromycin
• Fluoxetine
• Fosamprenavir

Drug-Food Interactions:

Grapefruit or grapefruit juice if combined with Tadaza may decrease the effect of the drug and the blood levels might be increased. Avoid co-administration to limit the effects.

Precautions and Warnings:

Tadaza may worsen the conditions like:

• Liver diseases
• Kidney diseases
• Allergies
• Rare inherited eye diseases or a history of vision loss due to non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION)
• Major heart disease, unstable angina, or recent heart attack or stroke.
• Tadaza is not recommended for use in pregnant women as it can risk the foetus
• Do not drive or use machineries if you experience blurred vision or light-headedness after using the medication
• Recommended dose should be followed. Do not exceed it.
