Folic Acid
Folic acid is a synthetic form of folate, i.e., vitamin B9 (Water soluble vitamin) this synthetic form can be used as supplements during pregnancy and preconception as during menstruation and also during conception there can be chances of iron deficiency that can harm the fetus. Folic acid which is a synthetic vitamin B9, body may convert it to 5-MTHF (5-methyltetrahydrofolate), the active form that runs critical reactions.
