How does Danogen 50 mg work?
- Pituitary gonadotropins may get suppressed just by reducing FSH i.e., (follicle stimulating hormone) and LH (Luteinizing hormone) release from the pituitary. This can reduce estrogen production in women.
- Inhibition of ovarian steroidogenesis may occur creating a hypoestrogenic state.
- Binding to an androgen, progesterone, and glucocorticoid receptors may occur followed by displacing testosterone from sex hormone-binding globulin, resulting into increase in free testosterone.
- C1 esterase inhibitor levels may get increase in the case of hereditary angioedema.
